So You Have Acne - How To Cope and Take Care of Your Skin To Reduce And Eliminate Outbreaks!

Acne afflicts about 80% of all teens and some adults continue to have it. Generally it is on the face and because this is the area that is seen all the time by everyone, it can be quite difficult to cope with, especially for teens who think that looks is number one over anything else. Not only does acne need to be medically treated but those suffering from it need to learn how to cope with it so that it doesn't ruin their self esteem.

So when looking for a cream, lotion, pad or gel it's important to make sure one of those two are included in the ingredients. Although the makeup may not be able to completely cover the acne it will help to lessen it's appearance and will make you feel better about yourself. You might also want to consider giving yourself a hairstyle that is kept out of your face so that the hair does not aggravate the acne when it rubs on your skin.

Although it is a myth that bad hygiene is a cause of acne, it is still a good idea to make sure that you are well groomed and clean so that you don't have to worry about those who think this way. You should also make sure that you dress nicely as well, not only does dressing well make you look more well groomed it also will make you feel a lot better about yourself.

A good way to make yourself feel better is sit down with your friends and discuss your problem. There is no doubt that they too feel the same way and if you have someone to vent with, it's going to help you be able to cope better and maybe even share some skin care tips with one another.
